Where the Money Goes

All money raised through the fundraising efforts of the Pajama Run® is sent directly to non-profit organizations conducting research on cancers below the waist including ovarian, testicular, prostate, bladder, and colorectal cancers.

Charlotte Pajama Run

The proceeds from the Charlotte run will go to the Carolinas Ovarian Cancer Fund as part of the Carolinas Healthcare Foundation.  The Carolinas Ovarian Cancer Fund supports a range of efforts by Levine Cancer Institute physicians and researchers to make genuine improvements in the treatment and early diagnosis of ovarian cancer.   The Fund also supports research conducted at Carolinas Medical Center’s Cannon Research Center and helps attract and sustain clinical trials of the latest pharmacological treatments for ovarian and other forms of gynecologic cancer.

Charleston Pajama Run

The proceeds from the Charleston run will go to MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, specifically supporting Dr. Jennifer Isaacs' prostate cancer research efforts.

Prostate Cancer Research Program

My laboratory studies events involved in the progression of prostate cancer. Although patients diagnosed with early stage prostate cancer may respond to treatment, metastatic spread is primarily responsible for the high lethality of this disease. Specifically, we are examining the molecular and genetic events associated with prostate tumor metastasis. Our goal is to identify the key factors driving this process and to find targets suitable for therapeutic intervention that will lessen the lethality of this disease.

It’s because of your fundraising efforts with the Pajama Run that we are able to continue these efforts.

Thank you for your support.
