Poster Design Winner has been Announced!

Congratulations to Rick Sargent, owner of Sargent Illustration and Design, LLC, and part-time faculty member in the Graphic Design Department at the Art Institute of Charleston, for winning the Charleston Pajama Run poster design competition.

Rick won a prize of $500 for himself and another $500 prize for the charity of his choice.  He chose to donate the prize to Lowcountry Orphan Relief.

Rick was honored to be the 2011 Cooper River Bridge Run design winner. Rick earned a Bachelor Degree in Art from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science degree in Medical Illustration from the Medical College of Georgia. He received his board certification from the Association of Medical Illustrators. Rick and his wife, Amy, have two children, Layna and Suzanna, and live in Mt. Pleasant.
